Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Level Degree (required) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current Connecticut RN license; American Nurses Association certifications preferred.
• BLS certification is expected or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care guided by ANA scope of practice.
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications safely and document treatments per policy.
• Coordinate nursing care and supervise delegated tasks to ensure patient safety.
• Deliver patient-centered care while recognizing cultural diversity and maintaining professional accountability.
