Job summary

Norwalk Hospital Association is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care under ANA guidelines. You will collaborate with the care team to assess needs, implement plans, and evaluate regimens in line with hospital policies.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, safe medication administration, care coordination, and leadership in safety practices. CT nurse license required; NY licensure considered for cross-state roles.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s Level Degree (required).
• Current NY State RN license for hospitals and CT RN license.
• New graduates may be considered at the discretion of the Chief Nursing Officer.

Responsibilities

• Completes patient assessment and reassessment with care plan and outcomes.
• Follows the five Rights of Medication Administration and documents responses.
• Coordinates nursing care delivery and delegates tasks as appropriate.
• Promotes a culture of safety and conducts bedside shift reports.
• Delivers patient-centered care and maintains clear communication.
