Qualifications

• Certifications endorsed by ANA orAMS preferred (BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC etc.)

Responsibilities

• Complete patient assessment and reassessment with care plan and outcomes.
• Document transfer/discharge information as indicated.
• Follow the five Rights of Medication Administration and verify medications with patient.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care and delegate tasks.
• Promote a culture of safety and conduct bedside shift reports.
• Assess learning needs and provide patient/family education.
• Care for specific patient populations as needed.
• Deliver patient-centered care and respect diversity.
• Meet accreditation, regulatory, and compliance responsibilities.
• Support learning and professional development through mentorship.
• Perform duties within the state nursing scope.
