Job summary

Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care (Step down) unit. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care and coordinating patient progress across departments.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience is required.
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required; BLS or ACLS preferred at hire, ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment; analyze data and create a plan of care.
• Serve as point of contact for patient care coordination across departments.
• Acts as a patient safety advocate by participating in quality improvement in the department.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per policy.
