Bon Secours Mercy Health's Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, VA seeks a Progressive Care (Step-down) Registered Nurse. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, assess patient status, and collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans that improve outcomes across med-surg and step-down units.

The role requires 1 year of RN experience, a current RN license, and BLS/ACLS credentials (ACLS preferred on hire, ACLS within 6 months).

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience (required).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred but not required.
• Current state RN licensure; BLS/ACLS preferred at hire and ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and create plans of care.
• Serve as point of contact for patient care coordination across departments.
• Act as a patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement.
• Administer medications safely per policies and state practice.
