Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Progressive Care (Step down) RN at Memorial Regional Medical Center to deliver high-quality nursing care. The role emphasizes leadership, strong assessment skills, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN degree preferred, not required.
• Current State RN licensure required.
• BLS or ACLS preferred at hire; ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of RN experience required; 6 months RN experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and create a plan of care.
• Coordinate patient care across hospital departments and serve as point of contact.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
