Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking a Progressive Care (Step down) Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality nursing care on a CMSU unit. The role involves collaboration with the care team, patient assessment, plan development, and ensuring safety and proper treatment as patients transition between Med-Surg and ICU.

The position requires an RN with at least 1 year of experience; a BSN is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience (required).
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients.
• Act as liaison between Med-Surg and ICU units.
• Develop and execute patient care plans to improve outcomes.
• Administer medications safely according to policies.

Education

Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred, not required)
