Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Progressive Care Unit Float Pool. As a Float Pool RN, you will cover Medical Critical Care Step-Down, Trauma Step-Down, Neuro Step-Down, Cardiac Step-Down, and Intermediate Cardiac Care Unit. This full-time night shift runs 7:00 p.m.

to 7:30 a.m., with days varying. Inova is a recognized national leader in safety, quality, and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license or eligible; active license required
• 1 year RN experience; critical care experience preferred
• BSN or ADN with plan to obtain BSN within 5 years
• BLS required; ACLS per unit policy or within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient health assessments and data synthesis
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans
• Support patient/family through healthcare continuum
• Document care activities per standards and ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor staff
