Job summary

Inova Health System's Inova Alexandria Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Critical Care Float Pool. This full-time night shift runs Monday–Friday with rotating weekends, 7 PM–7:30 AM, offering stable hours within a nationally recognized healthcare system.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patients across the continuum. Virginia RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and ICU experience are required.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Virginia RN licensure or eligible for licensure.
• 1 year of nursing experience; ICU/critical care experience preferred.
• BSN preferred or plan to obtain BSN within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and develops plans of care.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to meet patient outcomes.
• Documents care activities and supports patient/family throughout care transitions.
• Demonstrates ongoing professional development with continuing education.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Associate's Degree
