Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine in Columbia, Maryland is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team, covering ortho/spine, robotics, and general surgeries with a patient-centered focus.

The role offers 8- or 12-hour day shifts on weekdays, a casual weekly schedule, and required shift coverage with some call shifts.

Qualifications

• ADN is required for eligibility.
• RN License required to practice in Maryland.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum six months of nursing experience is required.
• 2 years OR nursing experience preferred.

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Weekly Working Hours: Casual

Shift: 8 or 12 hour days (6:30am to 3pm or 6:30am to 7pm) WEEKDAYS

Must work 6 shifts per month (call shifts count towards your required shifts)

At Howard County General Hospital, we have 11 ORs which are a great fit for the experienced OR RN looking to work for the world-renowned Johns Hopkins family. In our OR's we provide ortho/spine, robotics, and general surgeries.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) (Required),
• Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred) and
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program.
• RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)
• CPR - Basic CPR (Required)
• Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required)
• 2 year of OR nursing experience (Preferred)
