Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine in Columbia, Maryland is seeking a Registered Nurse – Operating Room to join the Howard County Medical Center OR team.

The OR RN will provide care for ortho/spine, robotics and general surgeries; schedule is 36 hours weekly, with an 8-hour evening shift from 10:30 am to 7 pm. ADN required; BSN preferred and must matriculate; RN license and CPR required; minimum six months of nursing experience, with OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN mandatory; BSN preferred and must matriculate to BSN.
• RN license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum six months of nursing experience is required.
• One year of nursing experience and OR experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the operating room for ortho/spine, robotics and general surgeries.
• Support the OR team and Johns Hopkins Health System collaboration.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards in a high-acuity setting.
