Job summary

Mercy seeks a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery Unit's Pre-Procedure Phase IINO Call with weekend rotation. The RN will assess patients pre-admission, collect medical histories, and coordinate with anesthesia while delivering direct patient care across age groups.

Under ASU Nurse Manager supervision, candidates must have an accredited nursing program, Missouri RN license, and at least 2 years of RN experience. BSN preferred; BLS required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state of practice (Missouri).
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients prior to admission via phone or in-person.
• Collect patients' medical histories from records.
• Coordinate with anesthesia to address patient needs.
• Provide direct patient care for all age groups.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care per plan and policies.
• Uphold Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
