Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU) Pre-Procedure Phase II. This role involves patient assessment, history collection, and coordinating with anesthesia to meet individual patient needs.

The nurse will perform direct patient care for all ages and drive the plan of care in alignment with hospital policies and Mercy standards. Mercy emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and comprehensive benefits with PTO and retirement plans.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients prior to admission via phone or in person.
• Collect patients’ medical history from records.
• Coordinate patient needs with anesthesia department.
• Provide direct patient care for all age groups.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, Mercy Service Standards, and mission values.
