Mercy seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU) for Pre Procedure Phase II with weekend rotation. The role involves pre-admission assessments, coordinating with anesthesia, and delivering age-appropriate patient care in a 28-bed prep and 32-bed outpatient unit.

Under RN supervision, you will gather medical histories, ensure patient rights, and follow Mercy Service Standards, contributing to a mission-driven health system with strong benefits and development opportunities.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Strong clinical skills and effective communication; ability to work in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient prior to admission via phone interview or in person.
• Collect patient medical history from records.
• Coordinate needs with anesthesia department.
• Perform direct patient care for all age groups; plan and evaluate care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and Mercy Service Standards.
