Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-admission telephone evaluations and determine need for additional data or clearance.
• Collaborate with anesthesia team to review records and assess patient suitability for care levels.
• Document detailed telephone assessments in EMR, including medications, allergies, and pre-op instructions.
• Enter pre-op physician orders into the clinical system as needed.
• Address patient questions and explain prep requirements to ease pre-procedure anxiety.
• Maintain patient privacy and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
