Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current, unrestricted Oregon and Washington RN licenses.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experience with Epic EHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments via telephone and in-person consultations to evaluate readiness for surgery and anesthesia.
• Review patient medical history, medications, allergies, and prior anesthesia experiences.
• Identify anesthesia and surgical risks using screening tools and protocols.
• Coordinate pre-operative testing and medical clearances based on risk factors and procedures.
• Document assessments in Epic and manage InBasket messages per clinic protocols.
• Educate patients on pre-operative preparation and expectations.
