Job summary

Southwoods Health in Boardman, OH is seeking a dedicated RN to guide patient care through the entire endoscopy process—from intake to recovery in the perioperative setting. You will perform preoperative assessments, monitor patients, administer medications, document responses, ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, TJC and ODH, and help manage resources while maintaining patient privacy.

BSN is preferred and active RN license in Ohio is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• BSN preferred; strong clinical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the perioperative endoscopy setting from intake to recovery.
• Perform preoperative assessments and manage post-procedural recovery in PACU.
• Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and document responses.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with OSHA, TJC, and the Ohio Department of Health.
• Protect patient privacy and use clinical resources cost-effectively.
