Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current, unrestricted Oregon and Washington RN licenses.
• Experience in pre-admission or perioperative nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments via telephone and in-person visits.
• Coordinate pre-operative tests, consults, and required clearances.
• Document assessments and risk evaluations in Epic.
• Educate patients on pre-operative preparation and expectations.
• Collaborate with anesthesia teams and surgeons to optimize care.
