Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking an RN Pre-Op & PACU to ensure patient safety throughout peri-anesthesia care. You will educate patients, assess health, and develop individualized care plans, while monitoring patients post-operatively and guiding discharge instructions.

Responsibilities include pre-procedure planning, education, record documentation, and seamless teamwork with physicians and hospital staff to maintain high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Ability to make sound and reasonable clinical decisions.
• Ability to concentrate on individual patient care and perform calmly under pressure.
• Ability to effectively manage stressful situations with tact and professionalism.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians, hospital partners, and ASC staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and formulate a plan of care.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide pre-operative education.
• Document assessments and care plans in the medical record.
• Assess and monitor post-anesthesia and sedated patients in the PACU.
