Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking an RN for Pre-Op and PACU to ensure patient safety across peri-anesthesia care. The role includes education, assessments, and developing individualized care plans for invasive procedures, plus monitoring patients post-operatively and ensuring caregivers understand discharge instructions.

Responsibilities include pre-procedure planning, documentation, emergency recognition, and adherence to CMS and hospital standards.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and formulate a care plan.
• Provide pre-operative education and instructions.
• Monitor post-anesthesia care and educate caregivers for discharge.
• Document assessments and care plans in the medical record.
• Recognize emergencies and respond using clinical judgment.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
