Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Acute Nursing Unit. The role involves night shifts, full-time hours, and rotating weekends. A $20,000 commitment bonus applies with a two-year commitment.

You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the care team, and ensure high-quality nursing care across adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations. Qualifications include an Associate degree (Bachelor's preferred) and a Kentucky RN license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current Kentucky RN license required (single state or compact).
• BCLS within 90 days of hire; ACLS preferred for Charge RN position.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Plan, delegate and coordinate care with health team members.
• Document assessments, plans, interventions and outcomes in EMR.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy and standard of care.
• Monitor patient safety, educate patients and families.
