Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Acute Nursing (Skilled Nursing) Unit. The role includes a $15,000 commitment bonus for a two-year commitment and rotating weekends (days, full-time 6:30–7:00).

As part of Lifepoint Health, you will provide direct patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and focus on high-quality, compassionate care across adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations.

Qualifications

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process per applicable standards.
• Under supervision, plans, delegates and coordinates nursing care for assigned patients.
• Meets standards of care professionally and ethically; collaborates with care team.
• Assesses educational needs and plans education for patient/family.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, delegate and coordinate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Document assessment, plan of care and patient response in EMR.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate unit duties by acuity and proficiency.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy; monitor patient outcomes.
• Deliver education using teach-back and evaluate learning.
