Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Rehabilitation Unit. The role includes direct patient care, medication administration, and coordination of discharge planning, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus tied to a two-year commitment. Nights, full-time, 6:30-7:00, rotating weekends.

Qualifications

Current RN license to practice in Kentucky (KY).
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per American Heart Association.
Experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care using the nursing process per scope and standards.
Administer medications and perform clinical treatments.
Document care and monitor patient condition for the care team and family.
Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
Coordinate patient transfers, discharges, and referrals as needed.
Educate patients and families based on age and culture.
