BioLife Plasma Services is hiring a Registered Nurse (Nurse Practitioner or PA considered for scope) to support plasma donor operations at our Chicago center. You will determine donor eligibility, monitor reactions, review labs, and communicate results under supervision.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent to including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
• Fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy
• Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting

Mansioni

• Determine donor eligibility; manage informed consent, AIDS education, self-exclusion, medical history, exam, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and emergencies per SOPs, including center physician guidance.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings or guidance on medical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS as needed.
