Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Waterloo, IA seeks a Plasma Center Nurse (RN) to determine donor eligibility, manage donor safety, review test results, and coordinate with the Center Manager for daily operations.

You will be licensed as an RN/NP/PA and provide CPR/AED-certified care in a fast-paced plasma center environment, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits. This is a full-time, on-site role with strong patient-service orientation.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of duties
• BLS/CPR certification current
• 2 years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history interview and acceptance requirements
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs and arrange transfer if needed
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health processes for staff
• Assist Center Manager and Center Physician with center operations and safety procedures
