Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to determine donor eligibility, monitor donor reactions, and review laboratory results. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, following SOPs and regulatory guidance.

The role requires an RN/NP/PA license, CPR/AED certification, and experience in a clinical setting. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed nurse (RN/NP/PA) in the state of responsibility.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Knowledge of donor eligibility criteria and medical screening procedures.
• Familiar with plasma collection regulations and safety practices.
• Experience in clinical or hospital settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, obtain informed consent, review medical history and tests.
• Assess donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for complex medical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Support environmental, health and safety initiatives in the center.
