St. Tammany Health System is seeking an experienced RN for off-site Emergency Services, daytime coverage, per diem. You will supervise a team and provide skilled nursing care using established protocols, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires current LA RN licensure, board-certified status, and timely certifications (BLS/ALS/PALS, TNCC/NRP within 1 year). CPI within 6 months is expected. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Formación

• Current LA RN licensure and board-certified nursing program.
• Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications through ILCOR or equivalent.
• TNCC and NRP certifications required within 1 year of hire.
• CPI certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Basic computer skills and clear verbal/written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees a group of patients during a shift and provides care using nursing process.
• Supervises Respiratory Therapists, LPNs, and Unit Assistants.
• Maintains professional communication with care teams and families.
