Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work one-on-one with a patient in a home setting in Round Lake. Schedule includes day and night shifts with varied hours and on-call coverage. Compensation is $38–$42.50 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

The role emphasizes direct patient care, nursing assessments, and ongoing evaluation under the nursing process. Prior home health or pediatric experience is preferred, and licensure must be current in the practice state.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing License in the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate as required by facility.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year prior RN or LPN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and documents nursing diagnoses.
• Other RN or LPN duties as assigned.

Schedule: Days: Monday 7am - 5pm; Tuesday 7am - 7pm; Wednesday 7am - 5pm; Thursday 7am - 7pm; 7am - 7pm; Saturday/Sunday 8am - 8pm
Nights: Friday/Saturday 8pm - 8am

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
