Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Emergency/PICU team. This full-time position is .9 FTE (36 hours per week) with day shifts from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

A welcome bonus eligible up to $35,000 is offered to new hires. The RN provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborates with physicians and the care team, administers medications, monitors patients, and supports families.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings, reporting changes to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Collaborates with physicians during procedures within the scope of competency.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Provides patient and family education on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
