Lutheran Downtown Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time evening shifts (3x12s, 5p-5a) with a new increased pay rate and a sign-on bonus up to $35k plus relocation assistance. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The RN will assess patients, develop care plans, educate patients and families, and respond to emergencies while adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Documents findings accurately and reports changes to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as needed.
