Job summary

ARMStaffing seeks a Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse for Akron, Ohio, on a 13-week contract. Shifts include 11a-11p, 1p-1a, 3p-3a, and 7p-7a with every other weekend. Requires ER pediatrics experience, valid Ohio/Compact RN license, and ACLS/BLS/PALS.

Experience in travel nursing and prior Charge role are preferred, supporting fast-paced care in a Magnet facility with Epic charting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Pediatric Emergency Room nursing experience required.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Must have travel experience; first-time travelers will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency room.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Perform necessary procedures and assist with triage of incoming patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in Epic charting system.

Job Description

As a Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills while working in a Magnet facility. The unit cares for a diverse range of patient diagnoses including respiratory, orthopedic, behavioral health, trauma, and cardiac issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency room.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Perform necessary procedures and assist with triage of incoming patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.

Required Experience

Certifications/Licensure
