Job summary

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS required on submission.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, with a preference for those who possess travel experience. This role requires the ability to manage a dynamic and fast-paced environment while providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Utilize appropriate emergency care protocols and practices to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records utilizing the Epic charting system.
• Participate in trauma and code situations, providing necessary interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency nursing role.
• Current Active RN license (OK or Compact RN license required at time of submission)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS - required in hand at time of submission.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
