Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/medium to high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for medium to high acuity patients, monitor vitals and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records per hospital policies.
