Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown unit in Bradenton, FL. Shifts available include day and night, with full-time and part-time opportunities. Candidates should have an ADN or higher nursing degree and an active RN license, plus BLS/ACLS certifications.

The role focuses on caring for medium to high acuity patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Tuition assistance is offered.

Qualifications

ADN or higher nursing degree required.
Active RN license in good standing.
1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar medium to high acuity setting preferred.
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitoring vital signs and IV drips.
Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and proper use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen equipment.
Maintain timely and accurate patient records following hospital and departmental policies.
