Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for PCU/Stepdown in the San Antonio, TX area. The role covers day, night, and mid shifts with options for full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules. Candidates should have ADN or higher, an active RN license, and strong high-acuity care experience.

Responsibilities include monitoring vitals, administering meds, coordinating with care teams, and educating patients and families. Benefits are offered and salary ranges from $60,150 to $98,020 per year.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitoring vitals and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on managing acute or chronic conditions and equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen.
• Maintain timely, accurate patient records in line with hospital policies.
