Incredible Health is recruiting for a Registered Nurse - PCU / Stepdown in Flint, MI. The role emphasizes high-acuity patient care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license required.
• 1 year of stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar medium/high acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with close monitoring of vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring orders are carried out accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions, including BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitoring.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations.
