Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license in WA.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/high acuity preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications per American Heart Association.
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for medium to high acuity patients, monitor vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers and others to ensure quality care.
• Educate patients/families on management of conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and monitors.
• Maintain timely, accurate patient records in line with policies.
