Job summary

Incredible Health hospitals in Goodyear, AZ are actively hiring for Registered Nurse - PCU/Stepdown. Nurses with experience in Bariatric, BiPAP monitoring, COVID, CVA, cardiac drips, or high acuity care are encouraged to apply.

Shifts include day, night, and mid; positions available are full-time, part-time, and per diem. Benefits include a 401(k), tuition assistance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing required.
• Active RN license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, closely monitoring vital signs and IVs.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen equipment and monitors.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records per hospital and departmental policies and regulations.
