Job summary

Incredible Health in Temecula, CA is hiring a Registered Nurse for PCU/Stepdown. Openings include night shifts with full-time, part-time, and per diem options.

Ideal candidates have ADN or higher, active RN license, and 1 year in medium-to-high acuity settings; ACLS/BLS credentials and EMR proficiency are preferred. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs and IVs, administering complex treatments, collaborating with care teams, and educating families.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with vigilant monitoring.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers and others to ensure optimal care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and equipment use (BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen).
• Maintain timely, accurate patient records per hospital policies.

• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
