Job summary

Incredible Health in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Registered Nurse - PCU/Stepdown to care for medium to high-acuity patients, including post-cardiac care and neuro cases, across day, night, and mid shifts.

The role requires ADN or higher, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS. You will work with physicians, therapists, and case managers to deliver high-quality care and maintain EMR documentation. Benefits include 401K, PTO, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar high acuity experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for medium to high acuity patients, monitor vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and execute complex treatment plans per orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen equipment.
• Maintain timely, accurate patient records per hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing

• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems
