Job summary

AdventHealth in Lake Wales, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and deliver individualized care. You will administer medications, monitor outcomes, and educate patients and families to support recovery and well-being.

The role requires an RN license in Florida, BLS certification, and a focus on high-quality, compassionate care in a PCU setting. A 4-week parental leave and a relocation/sign-on package are offered.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Florida with active CPR/BLS certification.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in PCU or similar unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments and diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses, adjusting plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
