Job summary

AdventHealth in Sebring, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time day shifts in a high-acuity environment. You will perform assessments, coordinate care, and ensure safe handoffs while upholding regulatory standards.

Requirements include an Associate's in Nursing and RN licensure with BLS; a Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred. Eligible for sign-on/relocation bonuses; benefits begin on day one.

Qualifications

• Proficient critical care skills with strong communication.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to document care hourly.
• EKG interpretation class preferred.
• Sound judgment and critical-thinking in patient care scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to acute/PCU/ICU patients.
• Perform initial patient assessments and plan/discharge needs.
• Maintain safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate handoffs.
• Document care and communicate with patients, families, and staff.
• Support team collaboration to manage patient flow.
