ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for PCU/IMC on a night shift in Austin, TX. This 13-week contract involves caring for post-operative patients in a fast-paced unit and administering various treatments as needed.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, adjusting drips, and utilizing telemetry and IV pump equipment. Current RN license with BLS/ACLS is required; BSN and PCCN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• BSN degree and PCCN certification preferred.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Post Critical Care Unit/Intermediate Medical Care (PCU/IMC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing post-operative patients and administering various treatments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in a PCU/IMC setting.
• Administer medications, including drip titration and non-titration drips.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
• Utilize patient-specific equipment including IV pumps and telemetry monitoring.
• Assist with pre and post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Preferred: BSN and PCCN certification.
