Qualifications

• Eighteen (18) months of professional nursing experience in a tertiary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care - Ensures that appropriate care and services are available to patients and families.
• Supervises team of professionals including nursing staff, health unit coordinators, nursing assistants and utility aides.
• Human Resource Services - manages recruitment, retention, annual performance feedback and staff development.
• Budget Management - uses clinical and financial information to manage personnel, supply, and equipment resources.
• Accreditation Issues - ensures compliance with regulatory standards and nursing practice.
