• Provide day-to-day clinical and operational leadership for the CVRU nursing team.
• Partner with physicians, APPs, nursing leadership and interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
• Oversee staffing to ensure appropriate coverage and participate in performance reviews.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to address patient safety or care quality issues.
• Foster staff education, orientation and ongoing competency development.
• Support recruitment, hiring and retention efforts for CVRU staff.
