• Knowledge of staff education, performance evaluation and quality improvement processes.

Responsibilities

• Patient care: ensure care and services are available and coordinate interdisciplinary care planning.
• Human resources: recruit/retain staff and provide annual performance feedback and goal setting.
• Budget management: use clinical/financial data to meet budget and resource goals.
• Accreditation: ensure standards are met per governing bodies and policies.
• Customer satisfaction: monitor and improve patient satisfaction; communicate results to staff.
• Quality improvement: lead initiatives addressing patient safety or quality deficits.
• Education: foster staff education, onboarding and ongoing competency evaluation.
