Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Patient Flow Coordinator, RN (PFC, RN) to provide direct patient care and consultation within the ICC locations, working 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays.

Requirements include a BSN, current Illinois RN license, BLS, and a minimum of two years RN experience. Preferred: ED/urgent care background, national certifications, and proficiency with the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current RN license in Illinois required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum two years RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with OSHA.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document in the medical record.
• Provide routine nursing duties including phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs, and lab specimen prep.
• Coordinate patient care with other clinical and administrative departments.
• Triage and respond to urgent/emergent situations per organizational protocols.
