Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a dedicated Patient Flow Coordinator, RN, to support fast-paced care delivery across ICC locations. You will apply nursing expertise in assessment, triage, and collaboration with the care team to optimize patient flow and safety.

The role requires a BSN, Illinois RN license, BLS, and at least two years of RN experience; ED/urgent care experience is preferred. 12-hour shifts with weekend and holiday coverage are expected.

Qualifications

• BSN and current Illinois RN license required.
• BLS certification required; minimum two years of RN experience.
• Preferred: emergency department or urgent care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document in the medical record.
• Administer medications, draw blood, and monitor vital signs.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and other health care providers.
• Triage calls, communicate results and plans via MyChart, and manage priorities.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain compliance with policies and OSHA standards.
