Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patient Placement and Flow - Obtain necessary clinical information to facilitate bed assignment and admissions/transfers/discharges.
• Clinical Policies and Procedures - Be knowledgeable about disease entities, epidemiology, and unit capabilities per policy.
• Performance Improvement - Monitor capacity/flow, collect and analyze data, and participate in improvement initiatives.
• System-Level Collaboration - Exchange patient care information, participate in daily bed huddles, and coordinate with physicians and nurses to ensure timely admissions.
