Job summary

You will collaborate with the Patient Flow Leader and care teams, communicate census and bed needs daily, and uphold evidence-based practice while delivering patient-centered care. Applicants should have an RN license (single state or compact), an associated degree or diploma in nursing

Qualifications

• Associates degree or diploma in nursing; bachelor’s preferred.
• Active RN license (single state or Compact) and current BLS.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience; Epic and 3M experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procedural and surgical cases for bed placement.
• Coordinate all admissions into the hospital (direct, ED, and transfers).
• Coordinate unit-to-unit transfers to open beds as needed.
• Daily communication with bed meeting members regarding census and bed needs.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure appropriate patient placement and flow.
